Pleonexie means ‘the desire to have more than others in everything’.

Maxime Houot questions excess through art by tackling the hypermodernism & the pleonexic being that results from it, the upheavals and damage to the intimate being but also to our environments - from the closest to the furthest - and the devastation to the very idea of the collective in the very construction of the links that unite us as humanity.
