CongloméraT emerges from within a chosen building. It differs from Alte Schule in the sense that an existing in situ lighting system is used and manipulated live. A large number of cameras are placed within the building, allowing audience members viewing the spectacle from outside to view from two angles: directly through the building’s windows as well as via the five screens placed between audience and building. Locally recruited amateur and professional dancers are added to the mix, adding new dimensions to the experience, perhaps poetic, perhaps spectacular, but certainly surrealist!
